總體而言，【天眼行動】不是一部華麗的電影，簡明的多線敘事以及固定單純的場景切換，基本上很類似以往在1960年代，像是【奇愛博士】、【奇幻核子戰】這類以劇情進展和對話取勝，不特別講究特效與炫技運鏡的電影，然而正因為選擇這種說故事的方法，他也很精準的讓觀眾可以認真的感受他所丟出來的批判與詰問，而觀眾還因此從當中感受到娛樂與反思。
